Your data, handled plainly.
No tracking, no data selling, and no cookie banner to click through. Here is exactly what we collect and why.
Last updated: 16 July 2026. This policy explains what personal information Phat Digital collects when you use phatdigital.uk, why we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Phat Digital is a marketing partner for small, owner-run businesses, based in Bristol, United Kingdom. We are the people responsible for your data (the 'data controller'). For anything about your information, email [email protected] and a real person will help.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. If you fill in our enquiry form or ask for a free sample, we collect the details you give: your name, your email, your phone number if you add it, your message, and any photos you attach. That is it.
We do not track you around the web. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking on this site.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one thing: to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to provide the service you asked for. Our lawful basis is your consent when you send an enquiry, together with our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch. We will never use your details for anything you did not ask for.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use tracking or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to wade through. The only things stored on your device are strictly necessary ones: security cookies set by our host, Cloudflare, to keep the site safe from abuse, and, if you use an online shop we build, a small basket saved in your own browser so your cart is not lost. None of these follow you or build a profile.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. To run the site and reply to you, a few trusted providers process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, security, and storing your enquiry) and Resend (which delivers your enquiry to us by email). They act only on our instructions. We would only share information more widely if the law required it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we are in touch, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back, then we delete them. If you become a client, we keep what we need to provide the service for as long as you are with us. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or object to it, and you can ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Just email [email protected] and we will sort it within a month, free. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Keeping it safe
Your data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with reputable providers. We keep access to it limited to the people who need it to help you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. For anything at all about your privacy, email [email protected].
